The Suffolk Learning Consortium has issued an invitation to its members to respond to Skills Secretary John Denham's invitation to organisations to bid for a share of £20 million in Government cash to open up and promote informal learning for adults and young people to make this a ‘summer of learning'.
£1 million has been reserved for early applicants to bid for - deadline 12 June 2009 - from the £20 million Informal Learning Transformation Fund announced by DIUS in The Learning Revolution.
