The BBC’s learning campaign is rolling out in Suffolk! We know that we need to provide opportunities for people in Suffolk to become more confident in using numbers, and, particularly in the current economic climate, to be able to manage their money.
A free, hands-on money workshop will be taking place on Monday 22nd June at Great Cornard in Sudbury – please see the invitation.
At the end of the session, you will familiar with, and able to use the BBC’s RAW learning resources, which cover topics such as credit and borrowing, money and kids, pensions and practical budgeting. You will then be able to arrange further workshops for your service users, business or community with the full support of the BBC’s RAW campaign. You will be well-placed to encourage and support others to access and use the BBC RAW resources and help themselves, their friends, families or employees to be more confident when dealing with numbers and money issues.
Previous sessions run around the country have proved to be very popular so places are limited – please can you confirm your place by email – We will need to know by 15th June at the latest.
Please make sure that you include your full contact details in your response and let me know whether you would like to attend:
Morning session 10:00-12:30 OR Afternoon session 13:30-16:00
Tea and coffee etc will be provided. We will send out further details of the venue etc when we receive your response.
Places are limited, however please feel free to pass on this invitation to your colleagues and contacts.
I look forward to hearing from you.
