News - PTLLS - FREE courses through ISCRE

The Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality (ISCRE) and the Norwich and Norfolk Race Equality Council (NNREC) have been jointly funded under the Migrant Impact Funds to work on a Positive Impacts Project.

As part of the project, we are able to offer free places on PTLLS courses (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) to members of our BME communities. The area of specialisation and subsequent training will be Equality.

To qualify for the PTLLS course you will have to attend the pre-course training in Access to Services/Public Duties in the context of Equality and be prepared to study the pre-course reading materials.

If you are interested in becoming a qualified trainer and delivering Equality training, we would really like to hear from you.

The first pre-course training is scheduled to hold in Lowestoft in March 2010.
