Have
you ever
wondered
which of
the many
tools
available
online
or on
your
computer
might
help
with
teaching
and
learning?
Do you
want to
learn
more
about
how some
of these
tools
work? Or
learn
which
ones
could be
used for
collaborating
with
others
online?
NIACE
are
running
three
online
workshops:
-
Tools
for
the
Classroom
(Accessibility
Tools)
-
Introductory
Working
Collaboratively
Online
-
(Pilot
course)
Using
Multimedia
to
enhance
resources
and
engage
learners
(Images,
Audio
and
Video).
These
workshops
will
take
place
through
a
combination
of
the
online
classroom
tool
Instant
Presenter
and
the
NIACE
Moodle.
Places
are FREE
for
participants
who work
in
organisations
that
have
received
CaMeL
funding.
There
will be
a course
fee of
£55 for
participants
from
organisations
that
have not
received
CaMeL
funding.
Places
on the
Pilot
course
“Using
Multimedia
to
enhance
resources
and
engage
learners”
will be
free to
all
participants.
The
workshops
are
aimed at
all
staff
who are
involved
with the
delivery
of
learning.
We don’t
expect
workshop
participants
to have
previous
experience
using
Instant
Presenter
or the
NIACE
Moodle
but you
should
have
basic IT
skills
and an
enthusiasm
for
e-learning.
You’ll
need to
have a
computer
with
broadband
internet
and be
able to
listen
to
sound.
In
addition
to
learning
about
tools
that can
help you
with
your
teaching,
your
attendance
on the
workshops
contributes
to your
Continuing
Professional
Development
(CPD)
requirements
and if
you
complete
the
workshop,
you will
receive
a
certificate
at the
end.
