Services - NLDC Funding 2012/13

The Suffolk Learning Consortium has again been invited by Suffolk County Council Community Learning and Skills Development (CLSD) to manage revenue funding for Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC)  which is available to help Third Sector organisations to deliver learning opportunities and support activities for people living in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

Objectives

  • To celebrate the success of NLDC funded projects in 2011/12, through 3 Case Studies
  • To launch NLDC funding for 2012/13, introducing the new application form, contract, etc
  • To launch the Suffolk NLDC Quality Mark
  • To launch the eSuffolk Moodle
  • To launch the Safeguarding E-Learning Programme
  • A brief explanation of the Suffolk Informal Adult Learning Strategy
  • A brief explanation on FE and HE reforms and implications for VCS providers
  • Two x 2 hour workshops on Needs Analysis and Bid Writing.
