Suffolk Learning Consortium - leading Workforce Development for Third Sector organisations in Suffolk

Creating and embedding a learning culture in
Suffolk’s Third Sector front line organisations

Funding - Funding Network

Funding Funding Network Funding Forum LIP's BASIS2 Conference Fund

Similar to the Trainers Network, with a website containing useful information and briefing papers on events and funding opportunities.

Below there is a directory of Funding Mentors with details of their expertise and Good Practice Funding Bids. Partners will collect these examples obtaining permission from the original applicants to use them. In some cases details of a confidential nature may be omitted.

Target: 100 members to include 50 mentors, mentoring a total of 200 frontline organisations. Development of 50 good practice funding bids by end of the project.

If you are a Funding Advisor, provide Information, Advice and Guidance on Funding, or have been successful at making funding applications and are willing to help others please sign up as a Funding Mentor.

The criteria for a Funding Mentor is someone who has made at least two successful funding bids, and is hopefully willing to share a copy of their bids (anonamised if necessary) as examples of Good Practice.

The requirements of a Funding Mentor are to provide a maximum of 1 hours support to an organisation (perhaps 5-10 minutes by phone giving initial guidance, and then reading their bid before submission and providing constructive feedback).

Funding Mentors can claim £25 for each organisation they help with a funding bid.

Sign-up as a Suffolk Learning Consortium Funding Mentor.
