Funding - Funding Network
Similar to the Trainers Network, with a website
containing useful information and briefing papers on
events and funding opportunities.
Below there is a directory of Funding
Mentors with details of their expertise and Good
Practice Funding Bids. Partners will collect
these examples obtaining permission from the
original applicants to use them. In some cases
details of a confidential nature may be omitted.
Target: 100 members to include 50 mentors,
mentoring a total of 200 frontline organisations.
Development of 50 good practice funding bids by end
of the project.
If
you are a Funding Advisor, provide Information,
Advice and Guidance on Funding, or have been
successful at making funding applications
and are willing to help others please sign up as a
Funding Mentor.
The criteria for a Funding Mentor is someone
who has made at least two successful funding
bids, and is hopefully willing to share a
copy of their bids (anonamised if necessary)
as examples of Good Practice.
The requirements of a Funding Mentor are to
provide a maximum of 1 hours support to an
organisation (perhaps 5-10 minutes by phone
giving initial guidance, and then reading
their bid before submission and providing
constructive feedback).Funding Mentors can claim £25
for each organisation they help with a
funding bid.
